Does It Hurt to Get a Mini Dental Implant?
In this video, Dr. Ruedi Tillmann explains the comfort of the mini implant procedure, which is less invasive than many dental treatments. Schedule a free consultation at our Kaysville office, serving Ogden and Greater Salt Lake City.
The procedure is no more painful than other dental treatments and is often less uncomfortable than a tooth extraction. It is quick, typically taking only a few minutes to complete. Many patients report an excellent experience, often sharing the following day that they felt no pain and found the process much easier than expected.
While minor soreness or a rare infection is possible, these occurrences are uncommon. At most, some patients may experience mild discomfort for two to three days. However, the majority resume their normal activities and eating habits by the next day.
