How Long Does Full Mouth Reconstruction Take?
In this video, Dr. Ruedi Tillmann explains the timeline for completing a full mouth reconstruction, from initial consultation to the final results. Residents of Kaysville, Ogden, and Greater Salt Lake City, can arrange a free consultation to discuss their personalized treatment plan.
From the moment you walk into our office to the day you leave with your permanent restoration, the process typically takes about 12 weeks, or approximately three months. However, you will never be without teeth during this time.
In most cases, we begin by removing specific teeth, often the posterior or anterior teeth, depending on your situation. If you prefer, we can extract all teeth at once. After the extractions, we place a temporary prosthesis, referred to as an interim, which ensures you have functional teeth throughout the healing period. Once the healing process is complete, we provide your permanent teeth, carefully crafted for optimal fit and function.
We invite you to schedule a free consultation to discuss the options available. There are several systems and approaches to choose from, and we will explain how each one works to help you decide which solution best fits your needs and lifestyle. Our goal is to provide you with a comfortable, functional, and lasting smile.
