What if My Denture is Loose?
In this video, Dr. Ruedi Tillmann explains how mini implants secure loose dentures for a stable, comfortable fit. Schedule a free consultation at our Kaysville office, serving Ogden and Greater Salt Lake City.
When you come in, the first step will be to assess whether your denture fits your mouth properly. Changes in your body—such as weight gain, weight loss, illness, medication use, or natural aging—can affect the shape of your jaw. These changes can cause your gums to swell or shrink, impacting the fit of your denture.
If we determine that your denture still fits well, we can proceed with securing it using mini implants. Mini implants provide a stable foundation, allowing your denture to lock securely in place. This eliminates the discomfort and inconvenience of a loose denture, and you’ll no longer need to rely on adhesives like Fixodent.
The result is a stable, functional, and comfortable denture that restores your confidence and ability to eat and speak without worry.
